   Incredible performance!
   Although Rocco didn’t take home the big prize, it’s both encouraging and refreshing to see a guy take on the number one player in the game of golf and make him earn the win. It’s even more refreshing to see a guy like Rocco do it. What a terrific, humble, and down to earth attitude.
   In my view, Rocco made this U.S. Open one of the most prominent in it’s 108 year history. His name isn’t on the trophy, but for sure it’s in the history books and well deserved. A lot of big hitters in the PGA fell by the wayside duiring the U.S. Open while Rocco just simply continued having a good time and playing at his best.
   Congratulations Rocco! You are truly a hero and a worthy role model for the up an commers in the game of golf, and the game of life.

   For me, the story of the ‘08 U.S. Open is all about the underdog who played like a warrior, stuck to his style of play, and showed the entire world of what he is made.

    I was awed by the performance and fortitude which you showed on June 16, 2008. I was also pleased to witness one of the great battles ever played on any golf course. There have been many great golf moments but none had the historical significance as this match did.
